Braided Brake Lines Multiple Models
Our VUDU Performance braided brake line kits are produced from a high performance stainless steel braiding before undergoing TUV approved pressure testing. We have developed these braided hose kits in conjunction with Goodridge Performance which is known as one of the biggest companies in the fluid transfer industry.
We developed the line material and covering specifications on our Time Attack winning cars to ensure the lines were capable of winning races and driving on the road. Having clinched the Time Attack UK title we have proven these lines are championship winners.
Why is a braided brake hose better than standard rubber lines?
Stock brake systems are not designed with ultimate performance in mind the rubber hoses used are cost effective for manufacturers to use and ultimately will never work like a proper set of stainless steel brake lines. The rubber is prone to fatigue causing potential cracks and leaks. they also expand under heavy braking which means the brake pedal can feel different at every application.
Should I change my brake fluid?
Certainly, although it's not 100% necessary we highly recommend upgraded brake fluid when you commit to changing the brake lines. If your in changing the lines it's the perfect time to further improve the system with a brake fluid flush and upgrade to the Millers race fluid which has significantly improved boiling point and improved efficiency.
Are Braided Lines Easy To Fit
Yes it's a DIY job if you have a set of tools a jack and some axle stands this is a very basic job to carry out at home. If you are not confident we recommend coming in to have them professionally fitted due to the nature of this safety sensitive product.
