VW Golf R Remapping Software From VUDU Performance
The Volkswagen Golf R is a formidable machine. with its unique four wheel drive system trick haldex unit and day to day driving pleasure. The ea888 engine found in the Golf R is shared across multiple models known as the MQB platform this includes models like the Audi S3, Audi TT, Seat Leon and many more.
The 0-60mph sprint on the standard car is around 4.9 seconds using its amazing launch control feature to propel the car through the rev range. The stock Golf R has an estimated peak power output of 296bhp.
Using our own demo car and hub dyno we developed our Golf R remap software to work on a stock car offering impressive increases in power and torque across all of our stages. We have also developed our software to be available for multiple grades of fuel quality.
Our Golf R stage 1 Remap is designed for a stock car but will compensate for the addition of the following upgrades to offer a good lift in power and torque essentially creating a stage 1+ remap.
Air Intake we would recommend a performance intake system to open up the inlet which will give up to 15bhp increase over the stock intake kit.
Muffler delete is a part that removes the stock turbo resonator and offers additional airflow and improved audible noise when on boost. Ideally couple this with a high flow intake hose
Uprated intercooler we recommend this as an addition to a stage 2 remap which will also be suitable should you upgrade to a hybrid turbo and stage 3 remap software.
