Fiesta St Intercooler MK8 ST BY VUDU Performance.
This VUDU Performance Ford Fiesta ST MK8 Intercooler has been developed in house on our very own well known VUDU Demo car. Its huge upgrade in intercooler core size improves intake temperatures drastically even at stage 3 levels helping produce consistent and superb peak power. The front mounted intercooler found on the stock car has plastic end tanks due to its mass manufacture where as our intercooler has been specifically designed with cast end tanks allowing us to analyse and influence the airflow within the end tanks.
Like our stage 2 intercooler for the Fiesta MK7 ST180 this Fiesta MK8 Intercooler uses our tried and tested tube and fin construction which helps with heat dissipation across the intercooler core.
During testing we had a proven reduction in intake charge temperatures of over 30 degrees resulting in a power increase of 12bhp even on a lightly tuned stage 1 Fiesta ST MK8. With the increased demand of a stage 2 or even stage 3 build we expect this to be considerably higher again.

Our Fiesta ST MK8 intercooler has proven its worth during our Nurburgring trip with over 30 laps of data comprised from a 4 day test. This week was particularly warm which for us of course was ample opportunity to test many components including our stage 3 front mount intercooler.
Fiesta ST Intercooler Installation:-
- Minimal tools required
- remove bumper
- pop clips out of stock cooler and remove
- mount VUDU cooler and push spring clips back on
- test under load before re installing front bumper
Due to the design this Fiesta ST Intercooler is particularly easy to install using basic tools. We have retained the factory push on spring clip fittings which make this a relatively easy installation.
