VUDU Performance Fiesta ST Rear Engine Mount

This VUDU Performance Fiesta ST engine mount is our answer to reduce wheel hop, reduce engine movement improve traction, and give the Fiesta ST rear motor mount a well needed overhaul.

We noticed almost immediately on our demonstration vehicles that even at stock power we had large amounts of wheel hop and it would bang the drive train quite heavily whilst losing precious time spinning the wheels. It was obvious the Ford Fiesta ST rear torque mount was not up to the job the typical bushing design at stock was a rubber solution over a far superior polyurethane solid bush.

The design brief was simple for our VUDU solution to remove engine movement to aid traction, settle on a durometer for our bushes that won't rattle teeth out at idle or during throttle application, and keep within our beautiful design guidelines.

The stock Ford Fiesta ST180 has a cast aluminum mount with rubber bushings. The casting is inherently weaker and has a thinner wall section which means that we extra load from spirited driving or indeed a remap can cause the mount to fail.

This VUDU rear engine mount is, without a doubt, one of the first Fiesta mods we would recommend.
