What is a Ford Fiesta ST Sound Symposer Delete.

Most of the latest range of Ford EcoBoost engines use a sound symposer which is a reed valve system within the boosted side of the engine. This creates a deeper induction noise. This induction noise is then pumped back into the cabin with the intention of improving the user experience with fake induction noise.

This creates many issues aside from not being able to hear the natural engine note such as the extra possibility of a boost leak and more of the boost system to fill before the pressure arrives at the engine.

By Removing the symposer unit shown in the image to the right and replacing it with our Fiesta St Symposer delete you will reduce the potential of a boost leak and be able to hear the natural engine tone rather than the fake note created before the Symposer delete is finished.

In the marked instruction attached you can see the Symposer unit is the blue part. this is removed and the delete is fitted in its place. We recommend the use of a jubilee clip over the standard spring clip especially with a tuned Fiesta ST due to the increase in boost pressure.
