Overrun Pop and bang remaps have become extremely popular over the last five years or so. Replicating the sounds of our favorite group B rally cars with anti lag and overrun causing that unforgettable pop and bang sound many of us grew up with.

It's now completely achievable to have the bangs, crackles and flames built into your bespoke remap with VUDU Performance. We have developed our pop and bang remap to be engaging and will not go noticed whilst keeping reliability in mind.

There are a few hardware requirements that must be added to the vehicle before you can run a pops and bangs map.

How To Get Pops And Bangs:-

• Must be running VUDU Performance Software remap (we cannot add to other software or stock)

• Must have full stage 2 hardware ** DECAT ONLY **
• Optional race mode only switch
• Should be used with consideration 
• Off road use only

What is a pop and bang remap:-

In short, to achieve the bangs and crackles there are some in-depth parameters changed to customise the version of overrun we want. such things as rpm switch off, duration and intensity.

The basics of the remap is to continue using the injectors to inject a small amount of fuel when the throttle plate closes and the engine is in an overrun state. We then tune the ignition timing table to spark at the optimum time to ignite this small amount of fuel and create the pops and bangs.
