What to expect

The VUDU Performance stage 1 remap for the Golf R is transformational. Purchasing our own demo car allowed us to test and develop across multiple disciplines from our hub dyno to the race track and back road blasting.

Our Volkswagen Golf R stage 1 has a very clear point to make in its precision and exhilarating power and torque delivery whilst maintaining that all important day to day driving experience that makes this four wheel drive family car the perfect all rounder.

We have polished and perfected this ea888 engine calibration for a number of years to ensure ultimate performance and reliability.

This impressive result is based on a stock car using 98ron Shell V-Power or Tesco 99 Ron. We have verified 0-60mph sprint results 3.44 seconds using the uplifted launch control and making 370bhp peak power.

We do have calibrations for lower fuel quality on request,

With the addition of the following extra modifications you can expect to lift power to a comfortable 380-390bhp

• High flow intake hose and Ram air intake kit (air intake)
• Muffler delete
• Uprated intercooler (not essential until stage 2)

** This remap will work on all MQB Platform cars **

We highly recommend our VUDU Performance Golf R DSG Remap in collaboration with this stage 1 software. The benefits of tuning the TCU at the same time are fantastic with a lift in torque limits allowing more midrange torque, Uprated clamping pressure, quicker shifts to name but a few.

This option is ideal for anyone who is unable to make it for a remap in our Yorkshire based garage or one of our many performance centers across the globe. This tool allows the user to store up to five remaps and flash the car remotely anywhere.
