Golf R Remap Stage 2 VUDU Performance

What to expect from stage 2 remapping.

Our stage 2 remap software extracts all of the performance out of your Golf R stock IS38 turbo and increases the power to approximately 410bhp whilst maintaining the superb reliability that we are renowned for.

We designed our VW Golf R stage 2 remap known as VUDU V410R to be right at peak performance without venturing into the realms of overworking the engine, turbo or gearbox. This map was developed on our own mk7 golf demo car before taking to our local Yorkshire B-Roads for enhanced driveability and longevity testing.

With a 0-60mph sprint using our improved launch control logic and TCU software remap you can expect to be in the low three second mark further improving over our stage 1 tuning.

This further proves that software is not all about peak power figures but how the power and torque are delivered and the complex SIMOS18 ECU is programmed to compensate for multiple different strategies.

Minimum requirements for stage 2 software:-

• Ram air or R600 intake (similar induction kits our software will adapt to)
• Sports cat or decat exhaust system
• Front mount intercooler
• Cat Back exhaust system

Our stage 2 remap has multiple driver aided options which can be added at the point of flash or later in your ownership. we do not offer various power outputs only a high and low torque option.

Stage 2 options:-

• High and Low torque files
• Pops and Bangs (Race mode only)
• Left Foot Braking
• Hard cut Limiter
• Recalibrated Sports Display (MK7.5)
• Lifted Launch Control

Home Flash Tool:-

Only available to flash ECU remap. This stage 2 remap must not be used without the appropriate TCU software on any MK7 Golf R DQ250. The MK7.5 DQ381 gearbox can be used without a TCU file but it is recommended.

The home flash tool is ideal for someone looking to switch remotely between remaps rather than travelling to your local VUDU Performance remap centre.
